City of Trail is situated on the Columbia River in the West
Kootenay region of British Columbia, Canada, 9 kilometres
north of the Canada-USA border. The City is one of five municipalities
and two electoral areas geographically described as the Greater
Trail region. Trail is the financial and service centre for
the Greater Trail area and the West Kootenay region.
