Built in 1996, this multi million-dollar facility has won
several awards for its design and structure.
Amenities include: meeting rooms, state of the art fitness
centre and aquatic facilities (25m competition pool, leisure
pool, slide, hot tub and steam room).
Many rental options available.

Fitness Centre Shoe Policy
If you are coming to use the fitness facility at the Trail Aquatic and Leisure Centre, please ensure you have a clean, indoor pair of athletic shoes available to present to the cashier upon entry to the building. Your cooperation in helping to maintain a clean facility and improve the lifespan of the equipment is appreciated.

A bit more active but still perfect for winding down at the
end of a long day.

Perfect for relaxing after an intense day at home or in the
office. Come and lose your thoughts in the hot tub and steam
room, or float around. Length swimming is available.
Cardio
Step
A great cardio workout which combines low impact aerobics
with intermediate level step. An excellent way to start your
day! A drop in is $4.00 or use your punch card.
Drop
In Kayaking!
If you have a kayak, and want to practice your skills, join
others in a warm and safe environment. Rent a kayak for an
affordable price. What a great deal! (Available until June)

TOURISTS – with valid identification, anyone who lives outside of the Greater Trail area is eligible for the TRP rates on a drop in admission to the Trail Aquatic & Leisure Centre.

Children 6 years and Under
Children 6 years and under must be accompanied by a swimming
adult in the water. They must be within arm's reach of a parent
or guardian, 16years of age or older, at all times. Ratio
of children 6 years or under to parent or guardian must be
no greater than 3 to 1.
Children who are not yet toilet trained are required to wear
either a pool diaper or cloth diaper and plastic pants.
Hot Spot Areas
Children, 12 years and under, must be accompanied by a parent
or guardian (16 years or older) in the hot tub and steam room.
For the enjoyment and safety of all, please abide by the policy
and guidelines posted.
Bathing Attire
All patrons are expected to wear appropriate swimming attire.
"Cut-offs" and under-garments worn underneath swimming
suits/shorts are not acceptable. Non-toilet trained children
must wear pool diapers. Please remove disposable diapers and
place your child in either aquatic diapers (gabbies) or cloth
diapers and plastic pants.
Waterslide Rules
Effective September 15, 2008, the following rules and regulations will be in place for patrons using the waterslide at the Trail Aquatic & Leisure Centre. The new rules are a requirement of the Safety Standards Act for Elevating Devices which states that facilities operating an elevating device, such as a waterslide, are required to operate it based on the manufacturers specifications. For the waterslide at the Trail Aquatic & Leisure Centre, the manufacturer states the following safety rules and regulations for patron usage:
1. Children under 48" tall are not permitted on the slide.
2. Eyeglasses must be securely affixed to riders by head straps.
3. Swim wear with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets or metal ornamentation are not permitted.
4. Only one rider to enter the flume at a time.
5. Patrons should be cautious of their head upon entering the slide.
6. Patrons must ride feet first, lying on their backs or in a sitting position (sit up to go slower, lie down to go faster).
7. Riders must wait for the attendant's start signal before starting to ride.
8. Running in to, diving in to, standing, kneeling, rotating or stopping on the slide are strictly prohibited.
9. At the end of the slide, obey all attendant instructions and exit quickly.
10. CAUTION: For safety reasons, pregnant woman and persons with heart conditions or back trouble should not ride this slide.
