The City of Trail would like to advise the residents of our current snow control procedures and policies.
The City has 76 kilometers of roads to maintain throughout the City and has 14 pieces of equipment such as loaders, sand spreaders, snow plows and a grader to accomplish this task.

Santa’s Candy Parade is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 8 at 5 pm downtown Trail. Everyone is excited to see the decorated floats, get some candy, and wave to Santa and Mrs. Clause on the fire truck. We want to make this a fun-filled parade for everyone, so please take a few minutes to review the public safety messages below . Crews are repairing a water main on Rossland Avenue in front of the Colombo Lodge. Traffic control personnel are onsite to direct traffic and detour pedestrians. The City anticipates the crews will be offsite by the end of the day.

CITY APPOINTS NEW UTILITIES SUPERINTENDENT
TRAIL, BC – The City of Trail is pleased to announce that Craig Speers has been appointed the City’s new Utilities Superintendent. Craig, currently a Journeyman Mechanic with the City’s Public Works Department, will assume his new role on December 3, 2018.

The City of Trail has issued the attached Request for Proposal to provide third party organizations an opportunity to express interest in leasing the 4500 sqft former library space at the Trail Memorial Centre.
An optional site visit is scheduled for Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 11:00 am.  Proponents are to email tdavison@trail.ca to confirm if they will be in attendance.
Submissions will be received up to 13:00 PST on Wednesday, January 16, 2019.
