If you would like to address Council at a Council Meeting on a matter of interest to you, you may make a request to be included on an upcoming agenda. A Council meeting address is limited to 10 minutes including questions.
You are encouraged to discuss your concerns with a City staff person or a member of Council prior to registering as a delegation as some issues are more easily resolved at this level. As well, some issues may be outside the jurisdiction of Council and more appropriately brought before another level of government.
We encourage you to submit a written overview of your topic of discussion at the time of making your request. This will allow staff to ensure your matter is placed on the agenda for the appropriate meeting and allows it to be included in the agenda package which is provided to Council prior to the meeting.
