Interior Health Authority
Health care needs in the Greater Trail area are serviced by the Interior Health Authority (IHA). Within the IHA, services are delivered through a complex regional “network of care” that includes hospitals, community health centres, residential assisted living facilities, mental health housing, primary health clinics, homes, schools, and other community settings.
IHA Patient Concerns
Interior Health has established a central Patient Care Quality Office to receive, record, track and resolve complaints through our Health Service Area Patient Care Quality Officers. Please contact us Monday to Friday between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm at 1.877.442.2001.
The Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital (KBRH)
The Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital (KBRH) is located in Trail and serves the needs of the West Kootenay region. The hospital is the largest diagnostic and acute care facility in the region. For more detailed information on the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital, visit the KBRH’s comprehensive website.
