City of Trail RV ParkCity of Trail RV Park

The City of Trail operates a RV Park in the City for the convenience of travelers to the area.

The RV Park is located on Highway 3B at the east entrance to the City adjacent Waneta Plaza Mall, near Canadian Tire and Wal-Mart. It has grassed grounds, partially serviced sites and gravel sites.

Washroom facilities are available, including flush toilets and hot showers. Other services include a wireless Internet, playground, sani-station and firewood.  The RV Park is open May through to the end of September.  We are pleased to advise the season has been extended from Labour Day weekend.

Reservation Policies

Reservations for campsites can be made in advance of your arrival date by calling Trail City Hall at 250-364-1262 or by email to rvpark@trail.ca.  Full pre-payment of camping fees is required to secure a reservation.  Mastercard and Visa are accepted.

Cancellations:  If a cancellation is made at least 48 hours before your scheduled arrival date, the camping fees will be refunded; however, a cancellation fee of $10.00 per reservation will apply.

Refunds are not given for inclement weather, vacating your campsite early, or eviction.

Late Arrivals:  Reservations will be held until 11:00 a.m. on the day following the scheduled arrival date.  If you do not notify the City directly of a late arrival, your reservation will be cancelled, all camping fees will be forfeited, and the park attendant will have the right to give the site away to another visitor.

General Park Information

Camping Fees: $25 per night for an RV site (serviced; 30AMP electrical, water) and $20 per night for a tent site (unserviced), plus GST. A weekly rate of $140 is available for long term stays, payable in advance.

For sites not reserved and paid in advance, the fees will be collected by the park attendant.  Cash only is accepted at the RV Park.  Electronic payment (Debit/Mastercard/Visa) can be made at Trail City Hall, 1394 Pine Avenue, in downtown Trail.

The park attendant is generally on duty from 9 – 11 a.m. and 4 – 6 p.m. daily.  Please check in with the park attendant before you take a campsite if arriving between these hours.  Observe any reserved signage otherwise.

Only one RV or tent is permitted per site.

Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.  Excessive noise is not permitted at any time.  Only registered campers are allowed in the campsite after 10:00 p.m.  Liquor consumption is prohibited anywhere in the park with the exception of your campsite.

Check in time is 3:00 p.m.; check out time is 11:00 a.m.
