The City of Trail currently has three cemeteries:
1. "OLD" TRAIL Cemetery
2. MOUNTAIN VIEW Cemetery and
3. Knights of Pythias Cemetery
The TRAIL CEMETERY was established with the city in the late 1800's and was
located in the Tadanac region on Aldridge Avenue. In 1957 the interments were
moved to their current location, 8 kilometres north of Trail on Highway 3B,
in the lower section of MOUNTAIN VIEW cemetery. MOUNTAIN VIEW cemetery was established
in 1930 and is currently the active cemetery. This cemetery is located just
above the OLD TRAIL CEMETERY on Highway 3B. The KNIGHTS of PYTHIAS cemetery
is located on Highway Drive in Trail. At present the City has no burial records
available.
