This complex houses a number of different facilities including two ice arenas, gymnasium, squash and racquetball courts, studio and kitchen facilities. Events and activities are held year round. All facilities are booked through the Parks and Recreation Department (250)368-6484.

Cominco Arena (main ice surface). This facility is mainly used during fall, winter and spring for ice activities. Special attractions such as banquets, dances, concerts, conventions, rollerblading and various other special events are held here when the ice is not in. Ice Size 85' x 200'; Seating Capacity 2,537.

Kids Rink (smaller ice surface). This facility is open in the fall, winter and spring for various ice activities, and has a small viewing area. Size: 145' x 60'.

Cominco Gymnasium. The gymnasium is used for many recreation activities such as basketball, floor hockey, badminton, aerobics, fitness programs, banquets, dances, concerts, meetings, etc. Size 115' x 60'; Seating Capacity 1,000.

Kitchen Facilities. The kitchen contains full banquet facilities and has direct access to the gymnasium, which can be set up as banquet room.

McIntyre Room. This medium sized facility is ideal for: meetings, dance classes, socials, birthday parties, etc.

Studio #2 and Boardroom. Ideal for meetings or small classes. Presentation equipment is available (whiteboard, overhead projector, etc).

Racquetball and Squash Courts. Two racquetball courts and one squash court are available for drop in play, tournaments or other use. For membership information please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 368-6484. Bookings are made for 45 minutes of court time.

Saturday and Sunday: 6am - 11pm

May to July
Monday to Saturday 7am to 11pm
Sundays 7 to 3pm

Public Skating Schedule & Admissions

October 1st through March 31st, 2009 ( times may be subject to change )

* In the event of a special booking, public skating may be moved to the KIDS RINK or cancelled. Please contact the Trail Parks & Recreation department at 368-6484 for possible cancellations or changes.

Racquetball and Squash

There are two racquetball courts and one squash court at the Trail Memorial Centre. To book these courts please call the Parks and Recreation department in advance at 364-0888. Bookings are made for 45 minutes of court time

Purchase a six-month or annual pass at the Aquatic Centre and receive a 50% discount on the same type of racquetball or squash court pass.
