Recreation Department
The Recreation department is responsible for overseeing the operation of 20 developed parks, a fieldhouse, aquatic centre and arena complex.
The memorial centre contains a large ice surface with seating capacity of 2500, a children's arena, gymnasium, 8 sheet curling rink, 2 racquetball courts, a squash court, library and multipurpose and meeting space.
The fieldhouse shares joint use with the school district and is available for a multitude of sports including tennis, track & field, golf, badminton and many other.
The aquatic centre has a 25m-competition size pool, free form leisure pool, hot tub, steam room, waterslide, fitness centre and multipurpose meeting and aerobic rooms.
