Grant-in-aid requests must be submitted using the Application for a Grant in Aid form:

  • Application for a Grant-in-Aid (printable)
  • Application for a Grant-in-Aid (fillable)

Applications may be submitted:

  • in person at Trail City Hall, 1394 Pine Avenue, Trail, BC
  • by email to info@trail.ca.

Please ensure applications are complete and include supporting documentation.

Applications are considered at the Governance and Operations Committee Meetings as they are scheduled. Applicants will be notified in writing or by email of Council's decision as soon as possible following consideration.

With respect to rental waiver requests, please note that the person, organization or group applying for the waiver of fees has two options:

  • Book the service to ensure venue/equipment is available for their use. The group will be responsible for all charges if the waiver is not approved.
  • Request a waiver from Council and then book the facility. Charges will be at the amount approved by Council.

For further information, please contact the City's Deputy Corporate Administrator.
