The Home Owner Grant is a provincial program that helps reduce the amount of residential property tax you pay. You must apply every year before paying your annual property taxes.
Claiming your Home Owner Grant - New Process Starting 2021

- The province will also accept telephone applications at 1-888-355-2700 Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM Monday through Friday. (they are closed on stat holidays)
- Program eligibility is unchanged.
